We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring, and organised Breakfast and After School Club Leader to join our team at Sparhawk Infant School for 4-7 year olds. This is a key role providing high-quality wraparound care for our pupils, ensuring they start and end each school day in a safe, fun, and supportive environment. Hours of work, 7.15 – 8.30am and 2.55 – 5.40pm Monday to Friday (job share possible). You will plan and lead engaging activities, supervise pupils, manage snacks/meals, and ensure the club runs smoothly and safely. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children, have a positive and proactive attitude, and be confident leading a small team. The successful candidate will: Lead the daily running of the Breakfast and After School Club to ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Plan, organise, and deliver a range of activities, including creative, physical, and educational play. Prepare and serve healthy snacks/meals in line with food hygiene and allergy requirements. Ensure effective supervision of pupils at all times, promoting positive behaviour and safeguarding their wellbeing. Maintain accurate registers, records, and incident logs. Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff. Manage resources, equipment, and the club environment. Follow all school policies, including safeguarding, health and safety, first aid, and behaviour procedures. Lead and support other club staff as required. Hold, or be working towards, an NVQ level 2 in childcare or equivalent or have relevant experience.
