1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Jude.works platform operated by Jude.works Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our platform. We recommend reading these Terms alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. Platform description
Jude.works is an AI-powered employment engine that connects UK job seekers with verified job opportunities. Our services include:
- AI-powered CV analysis and skills extraction
- Semantic job matching based on skills, experience and qualifications
- Skill gap analysis with links to free and funded training courses
- AI career coaching (Ask Jude), interview preparation, and cover letter generation
- Salary intelligence and benchmarking
- Employer tools including job posting, AI job description generation, and candidate matching
3. Eligibility
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Jude.works.
- Job seeker features are available to individuals located in the United Kingdom. We use IP geolocation to verify UK access.
- You must provide accurate and truthful information when creating your account and uploading your CV.
4. Account responsibilities
When you create a Jude.works account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current and complete information
- Keep your login credentials secure and not share them with others
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. Job seeker terms
Jude.works is free for all job seekers. There are no premium tiers, no hidden charges, and no limits on searching or applying for jobs. Specific terms for job seekers:
- AI features (cover letters, interview prep, role summaries, career coaching) are subject to daily fair-use limits to ensure quality for all users.
- Match scores, skill gap analyses, and AI recommendations are advisory. They do not guarantee employment outcomes.
- You retain full ownership of your CV and personal data. You can delete your data at any time.
- By uploading your CV, you consent to AI processing for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Employer terms
Employers access Jude.works through subscription plans. By posting a job listing, employers agree to:
- Post only genuine, current vacancies with accurate salary information
- Not post ghost listings, misleading job descriptions, or discriminatory requirements
- Comply with all applicable UK employment law, including the Equality Act 2010
- Accept that listings may be reviewed, filtered, or removed if they do not meet our quality standards
Subscription plans
Employer subscriptions are available across four tiers: Free, Essentials (£129/month), Growth (£249/month), and Agency (£449/month). Each tier includes different feature limits and capabilities as described on our Pricing page.
- Subscription fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable except where required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
- We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with 30 days' notice.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use Jude.works to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract data from the platform
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
- Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful content
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures
- Resell or commercially exploit AI-generated content from the platform
8. Intellectual property
- The Jude.works platform, including its design, code, branding, and AI models, is the intellectual property of Jude.works Ltd.
- You retain ownership of content you upload (CVs, company information, job descriptions).
- By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to process it for the purposes of providing our services.
- AI-generated outputs (match scores, recommendations, cover letters) are provided for your personal or business use. You may not resell them as a standalone product.
9. Job listings and data sources
Job listings on Jude.works are sourced from official UK government feeds (GOV.UK Teaching Vacancies, Find an Apprenticeship), trusted job networks (Adzuna, Reed), and direct employer postings.
- We filter listings for quality and ghost job signals, but we cannot guarantee the accuracy of third-party listings.
- We are not a party to any employment contract between job seekers and employers.
- Stale listings are automatically removed through our daily cleanup process.
10. AI disclaimer
Jude.works uses Anthropic's Claude AI and proprietary algorithms to provide its services. Important limitations:
- AI-generated content (CV analyses, match scores, career advice, cover letters) is advisory only and may contain errors.
- AI outputs should not be the sole basis for employment decisions by either job seekers or employers.
- Match scores are indicative and do not guarantee suitability for a role.
- We continuously improve our AI but cannot guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Jude.works is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
- We do not guarantee that you will find employment or that employers will find suitable candidates through our platform.
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (or £100 for free users, whichever is greater).
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Termination
- You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
- We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with notice where reasonably practicable.
- Upon termination, your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of Jude.works after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Jude.works shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
