About the role

The Role Do you love teaching and want to be part of a collaborative and high performing Design and Technology Department? Are you passionate about inspiring and supporting students to achieve their full creative potential in Design and Technology subjects, with a specialism in food and nutrition? If so, we want to hear from you. Main Responsibilities Depending on your experience, you will teach a range of Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 classes alongside specialist Design and Technology teaching colleagues of the highest calibre. The Ideal Candidate Required from September 2026, a highly motivated, well qualified teacher with the ability to deliver Design & Technology across KS3, GCSE and A level. We are looking for a member of staff with excellent subject knowledge, organisational and communication skills who is innovative, creative, enthusiastic and self-motivated. The successful candidate will have the skills to deliver the current GCSE Food and Nutrition course. An ability to teach across all Design & Technology specialisms would be an advantage but is not essential. The individual appointed will have the opportunity to teach in very well resourced, purpose-built teaching areas and will join a very successful Department.
