About the role

St John Fisher Catholic High School is an 11-18 comprehensive school with a rich Catholic ethos. There are 800 students on roll including the Sixth Form. The Governors of this thriving and increasingly successful Catholic comprehensive school seek to appoint Teaching Assistants to work within our Deaf Hub. The successful applicant will be required to work 34½ hours a week which includes 2 hours a week for CPD, school visits out of hours (full time), term time only. These roles involve: Assisting students in our Deaf hub with their studies within and beyond the classroom. E Essential BSL Level 2 (or equivalent skill demonstrated in interview) Assist Teacher of the Deaf to develop the deaf culture in school
