We are looking for an experienced Teacher of Geography to develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences for all students, ensuring progression is central to all lesson plans and giving our students the confidence to think big for themselves as they progress through our academy. Key responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lessons that engage, challenge and inspire students Plan, prepare and assess learning in line with curriculum requirements, ensuring all students make strong progress regardless of starting point. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, using effective behaviour management strategies to promote high expectations and a culture of respect. Use a range of assessment data to inform teaching, monitor outcomes and provide timely, constructive feedback that supports student growth. To work collaboratively with other professionals and manage the work of support staff to enhance students’ learning Pay range: MPS: £32,916 - £45,352 Qualifications and Skills: Qualified teacher status or recognised equivalent Degree in subject specialism Ability to teach ‘good or outstanding’ lessons Effective classroom management What are we about?
