As a Science teacher, you will help maintain the ethos of the school by driving our organisational culture and drive. We are looking for someone who is committed to securing high standards and raising academic achievement. As well as teaching science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our substantial enrichment programme of extra-curricular activities. You will be a passionate, dedicated and outstanding teacher who can take responsibility for the students you teach. We are looking for someone who can motivate and inspire our students to be the best they can be. You will be responsible for the wellbeing and discipline of all students, maintain positive relationships with the parents / carers of the students and be responsible for your own safety and that of others. About You The successful candidate will have experience of teaching Science in a classroom with students of a relevant age and have successful experience as a member of a team. Candidates will also have qualified teacher status or degree and relevant experience, successful completion of ECT induction year or working towards ECT qualification. They will have the motivation to work with children and young people, have the ability to form and maintain appropriate relationships and personal boundaries with children and young people.
