Elmlea Schools, part of the Russell Education Trust, is seeking to appoint a dedicated Site Officer or an aspiring Site Officer to join our team as soon as possible .This is a crucial role in supporting the Property Team to ensure the smooth running of the school site, including: maintaining the security of the school; carrying out maintenance tasks to a high standard to ensure a safe working environment for students and staff (please see job description for further details). The position would suit a highly organised candidate with practical DIY skills and is an excellent opportunity for those seeking to develop their career or seeking a career change. Training will be provided. The successful candidate will: Be flexible, dedicated and passionate about maintaining a safe working environment for students and staff. Have strong D.I.Y skills and be able to carry out physical tasks such as lifting, carrying and pushing equipment. Be organised, able to multi-task and work closely with the Property Team as well as on their own initiative. Have a good understanding of Health & Safety in a school environment. Have good IT and administrative skills.
