About this Role SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) Location: Manor Community Primary School Hours: Full time Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience) Contract: Permanent About the Role Manor Community Primary School is seeking a dedicated and passionate SENCo to join our team. This is a pivotal role within the school, leading on the strategic and operational provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work closely with the Headteacher, senior leaders, staff, and external agencies to ensure that all pupils receive the support they need to thrive and achieve their full potential. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the schoolβs SEND provision in line with the SEND Code of Practice Develop, implement and review effective SEN support plans and EHCP provision Work collaboratively with teachers to identify and support pupils with SEND Monitor progress and impact of interventions across the school Act as the main point of contact for parents and carers of pupils with SEND Coordinate multi-agency support (e.g. Educational Psychology, Speech & Language) Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and maintain accurate SEND records Contribute to whole-school improvement and inclusive teaching practice About You We are looking for someone who: Is an experienced teacher with a strong understanding of SEND provision Holds, or is willing to work towards, the National Award for SEN Coordination Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is highly organised and able to manage competing priorities Is passionate about inclusion and improving outcomes for all children Can build strong relationships with staff, pupils, and families What We Offer A supportive and welcoming school community Opportunities for professional development and leadership growth A collaborative and forward-thinking team A strong commitment to staff wellbeing and flexible working If this sounds like you, click the apply now button to submit your application!
