The salary for this post is MPS/UPS on the Teachers Pay Scale. About the role: We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, creative and committedTeacher of Performing Arts (Drama & Music)to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons in both Drama and Music. The successful candidate will: Deliver high-quality lessons in Drama and Music that motivate and challenge students Foster a love of the performing arts and encourage participation in extracurricular activities Contribute to school productions, performances and events Support the continued development of the Performing Arts curriculum Work collaboratively within a supportive department and wider school team Who we’re looking for: The ideal candidate will: Be a qualified teacher with a specialism inPerforming Arts (Drama and Music) Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for practical, hands‑on learning Deliver consistently high‑quality teaching that inspires and motivates students Have high expectations of students’ progress, achievement and behaviour Be committed to inclusive practice and raising outcomes for all learners Work effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team To find out more about the full responsibilities of the role and/or to ensure you meet the essential criteria, please review the attached job description.
