Role Details, including description & duties
This role provides essential administrative and
organisational support to the SEND department within a diverse and inclusive
academy environment. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate SEND records
and provision maps, supporting referrals and exam access arrangements,
preparing documentation for EHCPs and annual reviews, and coordinating meetings
with parents, staff, and external agencies. The successful candidate will act
as a key point of communication for parents/carers, support teachers with pupil
information and progress updates, and ensure confidentiality and compliance
with safeguarding and GDPR requirements. The role requires strong
organisational skills, attention to detail, professionalism, and a commitment to
supporting pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.

Personal Qualities, including experience &
qualifications
We require an enthusiastic and positive individual,
committed to the education and well-being of children and young people, who
has:
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Grade 4 or
equivalent.
Experience of working in a busy office environment.
Ability to undertake a variety of administrative functions
i.e. filing,
telephone enquiries, typing letters etc.
An understanding of the practice of confidentiality in
school.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of
children.
