Teacher Ruishton C of E Primary School, part of The Oak Partnership, seeks to appoint a EYFS teacher on a Maternity Cover basis to start in September 2026. Overview of the role
We are seeking an excellent, enthusiastic teacher to join our teaching staff for a Maternity cover placement. Youβll be an experienced Primary teacher delivering the foundation phase curriculum whilst planning, preparing and teaching lessons; an understanding of classroom management, curriculum knowledge and delivery of feedback is key.
Key requirements
Qualified Teacher Status Passion and commitment for inspiring through teaching and learning
Solid knowledge of the foundation phase in line with the relevant curriculum
The ability to build on and develop existing best practice knowledge
Excellent communication and classroom management skills While this role is primarily a classroom teacher position, we are always committed to supporting career progression. There may be opportunities for involvement in leadership development activities during the contract period, subject to the schools needs and candidate interest.
