The successful applicant will be part of a team of technicians who service the science, art, craft and design and also food and nutrition departments and the flexibility to cover the other faculties if required would be desirable. The duties of the role include the preparation of materials, equipment and chemicals for lessons, caring for plants and animals, ensuring the clearing and cleaning of laboratories, as well as art, craft and design and food and nutrition rooms as appropriate. Other duties will include advising on the stock of materials and undertaking inventory checks. The role will also include working alongside teachers to aid student progress. This is a varied role and full training will be provided. The role would suit someone looking to work part-time or return to the workforce.
