Salary: £27,758 per annum –£29,451 per annum (Dependent on flexible holiday decision)
Support the Group Head of Catering to monitor, evaluate, and continuously improve catering provision across schools and colleges, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency, and compliance. You’ll provide expert guidance on service development, contribute to menu planning and catering events, and help deliver services aligned with national food and nutrition standards and best practice. The role also involves supporting the delivery of hot school meals strategies and ensuring services meet all relevant statutory and organisational requirements.
You will carry out regular site visits to assess performance, compliance, and overall service quality, producing accurate reports and maintaining key records on delivery, uptake, and outcomes. Working closely with catering providers, schools, and external partners, you’ll play a key role in driving improvement and customer satisfaction across the service.
In addition, you’ll support day-to-day operations, attend stakeholder events, and maintain effective systems for accountability and resource management. This varied role offers the opportunity to contribute across the wider Group, with flexibility to support different organisations as needed.
