About this Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEND teacher to join our Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) - Maple Class. The successful candidate will work alongside our school SENDCo, experienced and committed SEND TAs, as well as additional support from other SEND unit teachers across the Trust, and our Academy Central Head of SEND. The salary for this role will include an additional allowance - a SEND allowance. We welcome applications from experienced teachers, as well as Early Career Teachers who have relevant prior teaching experiences in SEND. Applicants should use the personal statement in the application form to explain all relevant experiences teaching pupils with SEND, both within mainstream and special school settings. Visits to the school are encouraged and can be arranged via the school office on 01689 853916. For applicants who wish to apply without a tour, for ease and speed, we may be able to offer tours on interview days and after the closing date. For experienced teachers who apply and who are required to provide contractual notice by 31st May, we can accommodate interviews ahead of this date. Please note that, although this is a role listed to start in the new academic year, our INSET days are on 27th and 28th August and the successful candidate will be required to work on these dates. About The ELP: Maple Class is our Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) designed to support children with Special Educational Needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC).
