We are seeking to appoint an excellent classroom practitioner who is an enthusiastic, innovative and engaging teacher of History (with Law), to join a dynamic and expanding faculty. Key Responsibilities: Implement and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students and support a designated curriculum area as appropriate. Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher. Facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential. Contribute to raising standards of student attainment. To share and support the Academy’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth. Support and maintain collaborative relationships with staff and external professionals. The successful candidate must hold QTS or equivalent and an honours degree in History or related subject. We would welcome applications from teachers early in their careers through to experienced staff. There may be opportunities for the successful candidate with the right qualities and experience to apply for other roles within the faculty as these arise. Please note there are also regularly other exciting TLR opportunities within the Academy to take on whole school projects and other roles for further development. Our last Ofsted inspection judged the Academy to be Expected Standard in five focus areas and Strong Standard in two- Inclusion and Personal Development and Wellbeing.
