Guyhirn CofE VC Primary School Part of the Diocese of Ely Multi-Academy Trust (DEMAT) is seeking to appoint a Part-Time Level 2 Teaching Assistant Point 5 (FTE £25,583 per year, approx. £15,030 Pro-rata) Working 26 hours, 38 weeks per year Monday - Friday, 8:15am - 3pm, finishing at 11:45am on a Thursday Commencing: September 2026 Guyhirn CofE VC Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant team of enthusiastic, hardworking individuals. The successful applicant will be working primarily in a mixed Reception/Year 1 class; therefore a minimum of a Level 2 EYFS qualification is essential. About You To be successful in this role, you will ideally: Have experience of working with children and hold an EYFS qualification (minimum level 2) Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people Be enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education Be highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload Be able work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils Have a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative Be able to work flexibly and professionally About Role We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 26 hours per week, 38 weeks per year with the working hours required being Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 3 pm, finishing at 11:45 am on a Thursday.
