About the role

Summer Club Assistant Cawston Grange Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable Summer Club Assistant to support the delivery of a safe, fun, and engaging holiday club programme for children aged 4-11. The summer club provides a welcoming environment where children can take part in a variety of structured and free-play activities that promote creativity, physical activity, teamwork, and social development. Please note this is a fixed term role to support Summer Club which is operating from Monday 27th July 2026 to Friday 21st August 2026. Applicants will ideally be available to work throughout the entire 4-week period and willing to be flexible as their shifts may be varied. Applicants must be 18+. Please see the attached Applicant Information Pack, which includes the Job Description and Person Specification. Safeguarding: The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBs check will be required. This job description does not form part of the contract of employment. The job description will be reviewed at least once a year and it may be subjected to modification or amendment at any time after consultation with the holder of the post.
