Teacher of Technology Salary: UPS/MPS Contract: Permeant, Full Time Start date: September 2026 About the Role Armthorpe Academy is seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Technology to join our forward-thinking team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a developing curriculum and inspire students in a subject that is central to preparing them for the modern world. You will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students to develop practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Technology lessons that engage and challenge all learners Assess, monitor, and report on student progress Create a safe, well-managed, and stimulating learning environment Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement Support students’ wider development as a Form Tutor Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external partners Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who: Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Has strong subject knowledge in Technology (e.g. Design Technology, Engineering, or related areas) Can teach across KS3 and KS4 Is passionate about inspiring students and raising achievement Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills Works effectively as part of a team Is committed to continuous professional development Why Join Us?
