Required from September 2026 Teacher of Geography / Personal Development (PD) We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and passionate full-time Teacher of Geography & PD to join the team at Hampton College on a permanent basis, from September 2026 . This is a full-time position, however part time applications may also be considered. This role is ideal for either an experienced teacher seeking a new opportunity to further develop or an ECT looking to start their career in a supportive environment. What You’ll Be Doing Deliver engaging lessons that inspire creativity and foster a love for your subject(s) Contribute to curriculum development and exciting departmental projects Use effective assessment strategies to support student progress and attainment Promote high standards of behaviour and engagement in lessons and around school Support students as a form tutor, working closely with the pastoral team Contribute to extra-curricular activities, visits and competitions to extend student learning What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: Well-qualified to teach your subject across all Key Stages The teaching of an additional subject, for example PD would be advantageous Committed to inclusive practice and supporting students of all abilities Enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the school through clubs, trips and events Able to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to a dynamic school environment A reflective practitioner who is keen to develop professionally We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every member of staff feels valued and supported. About the Department In Geography all students are taught in mixed-ability groups. At Key Stage 4 we follow the AQA exam specification and at Key Stage 5, we teach to the EdExcel specification. Educational visits and fieldwork have been an important part of the work of the department. At Key Stage 3 we conduct local field work. At Key Stage 4 we spend one day in Hunstanton for our costal fieldwork and a day in Leicester for our human fieldwork. At Key Stage 5, we spend 3 days along the coast of North Norfolk and 1 day in London. About Hampton College Hampton College is an established all-through school (ages 4-19) located in Hampton Vale, Peterborough. It sits within Hampton Academies Trust (HAT) and works closely with neighbouring schools such as Hampton Gardens and Hampton Lakes.
