We are looking for a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to support our students' educational journey. Your day-to-day assistance will be crucial in providing the help and encouragement students need to thrive in a supportive classroom environment Key Responsibilities: β’ Support pupilsβ learning and development under the guidance of the class teacher, including one-to-one and small group interventions. β’ Promote positive behaviour and social-emotional development, supporting pupils to manage emotions and interact successfully with peers. β’ Assist with planning and delivering activities, adapting resources to meet individual needs. β’ Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to assessment and planning. β’ Support the schoolβs ethos of safety and inclusion, ensuring all pupils feel valued and supported. Key Requirements: β’ GCSE (or equivalent) Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths β’ Experience working with children, preferably in an SEMH, special needs, or educational setting. β’ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written β’ Is proactive and flexible, able to adapt to the needs of different pupils and situations. β’ Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, understanding the importance of confidentiality and school policies.
