We are now seeking a compassionate, resilient and dedicated Associate Tutor - Therapeutic Lead to join our team at Consilium Evolve, our Alternative Provision Academy supporting primary and secondary students experiencing emotionally based school avoidance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and helping students overcome barriers to learning through therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches. The Role As Therapeutic Lead, you will work closely with the SENDCo and Counsellor to provide effective therapeutic interventions and emotional support for students across the academy. You will play a key role in leading and embedding the Thrive Approach throughout the school, ensuring a whole-school trauma-informed response to student wellbeing and development. Key responsibilities include: Leading the implementation of the Thrive Approach across the academy Delivering therapeutic interventions on a 1:1 and small group basis Supporting students with SEMH needs, emotional regulation and readiness to learn Conducting Thrive assessments and monitoring student progress Building positive relationships with students, families and external agencies Supporting attendance and engagement, including home visits where appropriate Working collaboratively with teachers, SENDCo and pastoral staff Promoting a nurturing, inclusive and restorative learning environment What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has experience supporting students with SEMH and additional needs Understands trauma-informed and restorative approaches Can build positive and trusting relationships with young people and families Is resilient, empathetic and committed to inclusion Has excell
