The purpose of the placement is to identify barriers to learning, therapeutic needs of the individual and how these can be supported in the pupil’s mainstream environment. We aim to support the child to reintegrate back into their mainstream school setting. The successful applicant will work closely with Lead teachers, other SRB support staff and professionals in the programme’s central team to provide bespoke education and support for the pupils. We are looking for someone who is able to contribute to a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the setting. Personal qualities are of paramount importance. The individual appointed will be expected to display patience, enthusiasm, energy, good humour, flexibility and reliability. You should also have the ability to work independently and also as part of a busy team.
