Tweendykes is a special school for 3-19 year olds supporting children and young people with severe learning difficulties. Experience of working with children with severe learning difficulties and autism is desirable. The successful candidate will:

β’ Have the ability to deliver well planned and stimulating lessons across the curriculum and ability range
β’ Have a belief that all children are capable of great things and learning should be fun
β’ Be confident in establishing sound professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and our community
β’ Have knowledge and understanding of effective behaviour management strategies and the ability to put these into practice
β’ Have high expectations of everyone within the school community
β’ Be committed to safeguarding and protecting children and young people.
