Sixth Form Beauty Teacher Maternity Cover Location: Chase High School Contract Type: Maternity Cover/FTC Start Date September 2026 Salary: Teachers Main or Upper plus TLR We are seeking a passionate and industry-experienced Beauty Therapy Lecturer to deliver the Level 2 VRQ Diploma in Beauty Therapy within our thriving sixth form This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and develop the next generation of beauty professionals in a professional salon learning environment, combining high-quality teaching with hands-on practical training. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging lessons across Level 2 Beauty Therapy units (theory and practical) Demonstrate and supervise treatments Assess student performance in line with awarding body standards Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback and support Maintain accurate assessment and tracking records Support the operation of a realistic working salon environment Ensure compliance with health & safety, hygiene, and professional standards Contribute to curriculum development and quality improvement What We’re Looking For Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy (or equivalent) Teaching qualification (Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or PGCE in FE) Assessor qualification Chase High School is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex.
