curriculum across the age(11-16) and ability range, adapting lessons to

meet the needs of all learners; A

commitment to raising achievement and promoting high expectations for all

students; Strong subject

knowledge and commitment to keeping knowledge current and relevant; A proven track record

for securing strong examination outcomes and student progress; A genuine passion for

engaging with young people of all ages and to establish positive relationships

including with disengaged students or vulnerable students; Confidence

in tracking and evaluating student attainment data to support continuous

improvement and raise outcomes; Experience of using a

wide range of teaching methodologies to inspire, motivate and challenge

students; Strong

organisational and time management skills; Able to communicate

with students and parents about student’s progress; The ability to work

collaboratively as part of a supportive and ambitious department, contributing

to the department, contributing to departmental development, curriculum innovation

and the sharing of best practice.
