SENDCO

St John Fisher Catholic Primary School, a member of the Pope Francis Multi Academy Company (PFMAC) is a fully inclusive school located in the parishes of Sacred Heart and Blessed Dominic Barberi, Oxford. We are based between Blackbird Leys and Littlemore and are a short cycle ride into the city centre. The school caters for 240 children from 3 to 11 years old, with an onsite nursery in one form entry classes. We are hoping to open a 2-year old provision in January 2027. We have an incredibly diverse pupil roll which we celebrate and is a key part of what makes us who we are. From September 2026, we are looking to appoint a dynamic, well organised and driven SENDCO to work within our school in Blackbird Leys. We envisage the ideal candidate to be one who can blend expert subject knowledge with the ability to build strong, positive relationships with families, staff, and external organisations. Our current SENDCO has placed the school in a strong organisational position, we are looking for someone who can build on her excellent work. Within our academy trust we have a support network headed by an experienced Inclusion Lead, and a strong working realtionship exists between all schools where expertise is shared regularly.
