This is a key role within the school, supporting our commitment to ensuring the safety, well-being and engagement of all students. The successful candidates will play a vital role in safeguarding processes, attendance monitoring and administrative support for the SDSL. You will work closely with pastoral teams, external agencies, students and families to promote a safe, supportive and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Safeguarding Support Assist the SDSL in managing and maintaining safeguarding records in line with statutory guidance. Support the coordination of safeguarding referrals and communication with external agencies where appropriate. Maintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date safeguarding documentation and systems. Support safeguarding meetings and case management processes. Attendance Monitor and analyse student attendance and punctuality data. Work with pastoral staff to identify and support students with attendance concerns. Communicate with parents/carers regarding attendance issues and support plans. Coordinate interventions and track improvements in attendance. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience working within a school, safeguarding, pastoral or child welfare setting. Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail. Knowledge or experience of safeguarding procedures within education (training can be provided). The ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
