About this Role The Candidate Are you a caring, patient and enthusiastic individual who loves supporting children to achieve their best β especially those who need a little extra help to shine? About the Role: As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) on a 1:1 basis and/or within small groups. Work under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO to deliver targeted interventions. Assist in adapting learning materials and activities to meet individual needs. Promote inclusion, independence, and positive behaviour. Foster a caring and supportive learning environment. What Weβre Looking For: We are looking for someone who: Is kind, patient, and committed to supporting children with a range of needs. Has excellent communication and teamwork skills. Can follow guidance but also use initiative to support learning and wellbeing. Has experience of working with children, ideally in a school setting. Holds or is willing to work towards an appropriate TA qualification (e.g. Level 1 or equivalent). Why Work for Affinity?
