Acorn Education Trust is seeking a personable and highly organised Administrator to provide support in the planning and coordinating of trips and visits for pupils across our school and nursery settings. Based at our Clarendon Academy site in Trowbridge, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about broadening educational experiences for children and young people. Working Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday β Friday, 39 weeks per year, includes Teacher training days). Required: September 2026 At Acorn, we pride ourselves on transforming education locally, with our two nurseries, seventeen primary and four secondary schools being at the heart of their local communities. As Trips and Visits Coordinator, you will play an active role in supporting individual schools with the administration and organisation of their own trips and visits, as well as assisting the Head of Enhanced Education with hub-level and Trust wide educational opportunities, ensuring all organised events run smoothly and are aligned with Trust expectations.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a keen eye for detail, who has strong interpersonal skills, is confident at providing practical guidance and has the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
We are looking for someone who:
GCSE or equivalent level, including at least a Grade 4 (previously Grade C) in English and Maths
Is well presented and articulate, with excellent communication skills;
Has strong interpersonal skills and is able to work with a variety of internal staff and external stakeholders;
Has superb attention to detail and organisational skills;
Is self-motivated dedicated and consistent;
Has the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation;
Is a strong team player, who can use their own initiative;
Has a proactive and flexible attitude;
Has experience of working in a similar role (advantageous);
Has the ability and willingness to travel to other Trust schools and locations, as required;
A Clean driving license and willingness to drive a minibus with pupils and school staff.
