Hospital and Outreach Education AP Academy (HOE) are currently seeking a proactive, confident and enthusiastic teacher of English. This is a rare opportunity to join our welcoming team delivering education to a wonderful community of pupils. Hours: Part time 0.67 FTE over 4 days. Additional hours may be available. Timing: From the 1st September 2026 Location: Northampton (some teaching may be required at other locations in Northamptonshire). Lessons will be a mix of face-to-face and online. Salary: MPS/UPS based on experience + 1 SEN point (currently Β£2787) This position is temporary for two years in the first instance. Essentials: You must hold QTS and have experience of teaching English in a secondary school or equivalent environment at KS3 and 4. Experience of A Level is desirable. The academy is committed to safeguarding children and successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Our commitment to safeguarding is underpinned by robust processes and checks which are in place across the Trust. HOE is part of the Skylark Partnership Trust, a growing multi academy trust which is for settings delivering education for pupils with medical needs.
