Teaching Assistant Level 2

Required for September 2026, or sooner, the governors and staff wish to appoint a suitably qualified Teaching Assistant to join our highly skilled and well-respected team of support staff. Initially the post is for a TA2 working within KS2, however, we have a fast track progression plan in place which enables staff to move onto a higher salary once they have proven their abilities after a period of time. We are looking for someone who: Is enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to their own professional development. Has strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to work as part of a dedicated and successful team. Has high expectations and is committed to raising standards through inspiring and motivating our pupils. Is flexible, committed to our school and willing to take a full part in the life of our community. Has a good standard of literacy and numeracy. Can provide targeted learning support for individuals and groups of pupils as well as supporting the development of children’s social and emotional skills.
