About the Role
As a Teacher of Textiles, you will: β’ Teach engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4 in Textiles β’ Plan, assess and track progress in line with curriculum and school policies β’ Support both academic achievement and personal development β’ Provide pastoral care as a form tutor β’ Model our values of Kindness, Integrity and Tenacity, and inspire students to Know more; Do more; Be more β’ Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment β’ Engage with parents/carers and outside agencies where needed β’ Offer extra-curricular opportunities linked to your interests and skills β’ Safeguard and promote the welfare of all students About You The ideal candidate will: β’ Be an emerging or experienced teacher with a proven track record of success β’ Hold QTS (or equivalent) β’ Demonstrate strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and communication skills β’ Be innovative and enthusiastic about teaching and learning β’ Be committed to helping every student flourish academically and personally β’ Show professionalism and high expectations at all times
