St Elisabeth's Church of England Primary · Stockport, North West
St Elisabeth’s is a special place to work, shaped by a strong community, respectful and hardworking pupils, and a staff team committed to providing the very best for their pupils, working in close partnership with Thrive CE Trust. The school is defined by high expectations, strong relationships and a shared determination to keep improving outcomes for all. “pupils are polite, respectful and keen to do well, and staff work together effectively to support them” (Ofsted). Our work is rooted in the Trust values of Belonging, Believing and Becoming . We nurture a culture where everyone feels they belong, is encouraged to believe in their potential, and is supported to become the very best version of themselves. We are now creating a new Assistant Headteacher role to bring added expertise and capacity to our leadership team. We are seeking a leader who demonstrates outstanding classroom practice, using their expertise to inspire, challenge and develop others, and who brings new ideas and thoughtful challenge to strengthen teaching and learning further. This role is central to our ambition for St Elisabeth’s to become a beacon of outstanding practice. This appointment offers significant opportunities for career progression, not only within the school but across the wider Trust. The successful candidate will work closely with other senior leaders and the Trust CEO, contributing to Trust‑wide collaboration and helping to shape our strategy as we move forward. If you are an ambitious, reflective and values‑driven leader who is passionate about excellence, people and community, we would be delighted to hear from you.
