Appointment of Kitchen Assistant Grade 3 SCP 3 (Β£12.85) Actual Annual Salary - (Β£8,483.06) 15 hours per week - Monday - Friday, 11:00am-2:00pm Permanent Term time plus 2 days Required September 2026 (Subject to DBS clearance) Sundorne Infant School is looking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to join our hardworking catering team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in helping provide healthy meals for students and staff. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with food preparation and serving meals Keeping the kitchen clean, safe and organised Washing dishes and kitchen equipment Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures Assist with the preparation and clearing of the school hall before and after lunchtime Supporting the cook and wider catering team as needed The Successful Candidate Will: Be friendly, approachable and able to work well as part of a team Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic Take pride in their work and pay attention to detail Good hygiene standards and attention to detail Previous kitchen or catering experience is helpful but not essential.
