About the role

Crowdys Hill School is a dynamic and expanding special school for pupils in the Swindon area and beyond. We have over 340 pupils on roll, ranging from 5-19 years of age. All our students have moderate or severe learning difficulties and social communication difficulties. Some have autism, ADHD or other more complex needs. At Crowdys Hill we teach our students both in and out of the classroom. The school has a farm which houses a range of animals from miniature goats to alpacas. Students and teachers are encouraged to use the farm to help develop life skills. We also arrange trips to local attractions, and specific year groups take part in yearly residentials to help our students to experience the world outside of the classroom. Bring an enthusiastic, imaginative, and deeply caring approach to working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Work collaboratively as part of a strong, supportive team, contributing positively to a shared approach and building trusting relationships with colleagues and families.
