About the Role We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and highly organised Site Manager to join our dedicated team and play a vital role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will lead all aspects of site management, including premises maintenance, health and safety compliance, security, contractor management, and supervision of cleaning provision. As the main key holder for the academy, you will ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the school site while maintaining high standards across the buildings and grounds. You will work closely with the Principal, Office Manager, and Trust Estates team to support the ongoing development and upkeep of our academy environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe, secure, and well-presented school site and grounds. Carry out routine maintenance, repairs, and caretaking duties. Lead and supervise cleaning operations across the academy. Manage health and safety compliance, inspections, and statutory checks. Monitor contractors and coordinate site works and repairs. Operate security systems, alarms, CCTV, and act as main key holder. Ensure compliance with fire safety, asbestos, water hygiene, and other premises regulations. Support site improvement and development projects. About You Experienced in site management, caretaking, maintenance, or facilities management. Knowledgeable about health and safety and school premises compliance. Practical, proactive, and able to use initiative effectively. Organised and able to manage multiple priorities independently. A strong communicator who can build positive professional relationships. Committed to maintaining high standards across the school environment.
