Rickmansworth Park Junior Mixed and Infant School Β· Rickmansworth, East of England
Rickmansworth Park JMI School is seeking a headteacher to lead the school into its next phase, as our current headteacher moves on to a new challenge, following many years of committed, successful and highly valued leadership. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a thriving one-form entry primary school with an Outstanding Ofsted judgement, a strong local reputation and a supportive community. The school is oversubscribed, financially secure and well placed for the future, with a committed staff team and an experienced governing body. The successful candidate will provide clear and visible leadership, working collaboratively with others and bringing their own leadership style, ideas and experience. Governors are proud of what has been achieved and are looking for a headteacher who can build on existing strengths while identifying opportunities for thoughtful development, rather than change for its own sake. Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and strongly encouraged. Please contact Rebecca Davey, SBM atsbm@rickmansworthpark.herts.sch.ukto make an appointment. Tours will be taking place with our current headteacher, Jane Linch, on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays. If you are a values-led leader who is motivated by making a positive difference for children, staff and the wider community, we would be delighted to hear from you. Please apply on the Teach in Herts website, using the standard online application form. CVs will not be considered. Should you need support, please contactleadership.recruitment@hfleducation.org Please note late applications will not be considered. Rickmansworth Park JMI School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Appointment to this post is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check as well as other pre-appointment checks, including an online check, as outlined in Keeping Children Safe in Education (September 2025). We welcome applications from all suitably qualified individuals regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.
