Assistant Headteacher (with SENDco) Gomeldon Primary School Salary: MPS/UPS £32,916 - £51,048 (DOE) per annum plus TLR2 £3,597 Contract: Permanent, 1.00 FTE Closing date: Midnight, Monday 27th April 2026 Interview Date: w/c Monday 4th May 2026 Start Date: September 2026 Job summary; Gomeldon Primary School is looking for an inspiring and compassionate Assistant Headteacher with SENDCo responsibility to play a key role in shaping an inclusive, ambitious future for our children as part of our Senior Leadership Team. This exciting role is perfect for an ambitious and motivated teacher ready to take the next step in leadership. You will play a central role in shaping and leading our whole‑school approach to inclusion, ensuring high‑quality provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities. Alongside strategic leadership, you will continue to inspire children through excellent classroom practice. Working in close partnership with the Headteacher and leadership team, you will help drive school improvement, champion inclusive values, and make a real difference to the lives of our pupils ensuring every child, whatever their needs, is supported to achieve and flourish.
