This is a key leadership role, focused on securing high‑quality teaching and learning, raising standards for all pupils, and sustaining a strong, shared ethos across the federation. The successful candidate will lead by example, motivate staff, and ensure the school continues to thrive at the heart of its community. Key Responsibilities Provide clear educational vision and leadership, securing effective teaching, learning, and achievement for all pupils Work collaboratively with the Executive Headteacher and leadership team to shape strategic direction and school improvement Lead, motivate, challenge and develop staff to deliver the highest standards through effective performance management and CPD Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching, pupil achievement, and progress using data, benchmarks, and targets Ensure the effective organisation, management, and administration of the school Promote a positive, inclusive culture and strong partnerships with pupils, parents, carers, governors, and the wider community Represent the school confidently to a range of audiences, including governors, parents, Ofsted, and external stakeholders Oversee the effective use of resources to ensure value for money and compliance with health and safety requirements Contribute to federation‑wide development and engage actively in community events to promote the City2Coast Federation Accountability The Head of School will be accountable to the Executive Headteacher for the efficient and effective running of the school and will contribute to: School self‑evaluation and improvement planning Monitoring, evaluation, and reporting on progress and outcomes Providing accurate local and national data as required The Successful Candidate Will Have Proven leadership experience with a strong track record of school improvement The ability to inspire, support, and challenge staff to achieve their best A clear understanding of high‑quality teaching, learning, and assessment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to collaborative working within a federation model The ability to think creatively and strategically to anticipate challenges and identif
