Willow Tree Community Primary School Β· Harrogate, Yorkshire and the Humber
About us Willow Tree Primary is on an exciting journey. Results have improved year-on-year above national averages, and we were proud to be judged Good in all areas by Ofsted in October 2024. We have recently been awarded funding to expand our Nursery provision. We are a large, two-form entry school in the centre of Harrogate and are very proud of our school, children and local community. We are fortunate to have the incredible facilities, with three school fields, two large playgrounds, an orchard, separate canteen, two halls, gardening and nature areas with a pond and woodland, as well as our own school swimming pool! We are passionate about outdoor learning, the power of nature to inspire and the learning that comes through hands-on experiences both in and out of school. We prioritise school trips and visits into nature our children benefit from the opportunity to learn outside regularly and connect with the natural environment around them. Our curriculum is built on a love for reading, a passion for the outdoors and inspiring, immersive learning. Books are the golden thread that run through the school, with stories being used to support learning across the curriculum and throughout the day.
