Individual We seek to appoint an experienced, ambitious and talented Teacher of Religious Education with a relentless focus on ensuring high-quality teaching and learning. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to join a successful and supportive Humanities department within our inclusive and highly regarded Church of England school in Lambeth. The successful candidate will be committed to raising achievement and delivering engaging, thought-provoking lessons that inspire curiosity and a deep understanding of religious traditions, ethics, and worldviews across all key stages. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are welcome to apply; however, we particularly encourage applications from experienced teachers who can bring strong subject knowledge and a proven track record of impact in the classroom, with the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities. Main responsibilities: Teach Religious Education across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Deliver engaging and academically rigorous lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking Contribute to the development and enrichment of the RE curriculum Support students in developing a strong understanding of diverse world religions and worldviews Promote high standards of achievement for all learners, regardless of starting point Work collaboratively within the Humanities department and wider school community Role: Permanent Start date: 1st September 2026 Closing date for applications: Friday 22nd May 2026 - Noon We reserve the right to interview at any point during the recruitment process, so early applications are encouraged.
