EYFS ACHIEVEMENT SUPPORT ASSISTANT NEASDEN PRIMARY SCHOOL Grade & Scale point:       4, SCP 5-7 Salary:                               Β£25,583 - Β£26,403 FTE, Β£15,950 - Β£16,461 Actual, Β£13.26 - Β£13.69/hr Hours of work:                27.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 8.45am - 3.15pm Contract:                          Fixed term contract until 31 August 2027, Term time only (190 days) Start date:                       September 2026 Neasden Primary School are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Achievement Support Assistant on a fixed term basis to join our hardworking and successful EYFS team.

We welcome applications from experienced Teaching Assistants and those new to the role. This position is also an ideal opportunity for someone looking to gain experience working in a primary school environment in preparation for teacher training.

β€’ Contribute to planning and evaluation of learning and assists in the recording of pupils’ progress

β€’ Support individual and small groups of children in the curriculum, to accelerate their learning

β€’ Support the emotional, behavioural and pastoral needs of all pupils, including children with additional needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities

β€’ Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education / Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programmes

β€’ Encourages pupils to develop as independent learners with a thirst for learning

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

β€’ Understanding of National Curriculum, EYFS Guidance and other codes of practice e.g. SEN, Equalities, Safeguarding

β€’ Effective use of ICT to support teaching and learning

β€’ Ability to interact well using courtesy, tact and diplomacy and negotiation skills

β€’ Ability to establish professional, effective working relationships with a range of partners/colleagues and children and young people
