From leading site operations and driving improvements, to supporting events and ensuring compliance, your work will have a direct impact on staff and students alike. About the Role Reporting to the Estates Manager and working closely with the Head of School, you will: Lead and manage the site and cleaning teams Ensure the security of the school premises, including key holder duties and emergency call-outs Oversee planned maintenance, compliance checks and site development projects Manage site health & safety procedures, including risk assessments, COSHH and fire safety Coordinate and monitor contractors and service providers Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and functionality across both sites Undertake hands-on duties including repairs, maintenance and porterage Support lettings, events, and out-of-hours activities as required This is a varied and active role that involves both strategic oversight and practical, day-to-day site work. About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience in site management, facilities, or premises maintenance Possesses strong knowledge of health & safety, compliance and building maintenance Can lead, motivate and manage a team effectively Is highly organised with the ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills Is willing to undertake key holder responsibilities, including occasional emergency call-outs Is physically capable of carrying out manual duties Relevant qualifications (e.g. trade skills, IOSH, COSHH, First Aid) are desirable, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
