About the role

Brookhaven School is a new-build specialist secondary school that opened in 2024, providing education for students aged 11–16 with autism. We offer small class sizes and a calm, structured learning environment, with specialist facilities including Food Technology, Art, Computing and Science.

The school delivers two pathways:

a Vocational Pathway with an academic focus, supporting students to achieve recognised qualifications including GCSEs

an Independence Pathway, with a greater emphasis on functional skills, entry-level certificates and general life skills to support preparation for adulthood

We are seeking a practical and motivated Teacher of SEN to join our wonderful team.
