St Joseph's Catholic School "With God's love and inspiration, we aspire and achieve excellence" Job Title: Receptionist Responsible to: Operations & Strategic Director Start Date: June 2026 About the Role To support the effective day-to-day operation of the school as a member of the Reception team, providing a welcoming, professional and efficient front‑of‑house service for visitors, pupils and staff. The postholder will deliver high‑quality administrative support across the school and act as a positive ambassador, consistently reflecting and upholding the values, vision and ethos of St Joseph’s Catholic School in all interactions. Key Duties Include: Act as the welcoming first point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors. Provide an efficient and professional reception and telephone service. Ensure visitor sign‑in procedures and safeguarding requirements are followed at all times. Deliver high‑quality administrative support, including preparing correspondence and distributing school communications. Support pupil welfare, including basic first aid and attendance administration. Assist with the smooth running of the school day, including emergency procedures, mail distribution and general office tasks. Contribute positively to the school community by upholding the school’s values and ethos.
