We
are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teaching Assistant to
join our team to support pupils with SEND in our school. Required for 5 days a
week from 8.30am – 3.30pm. Total hours are 32 hours 30 minutes per week,
including supervising lunchtime and break duty, term time only. Job share considered
Main
duties:
Ø To support SEN pupils in their learning and development, in small groups
or one to one as directed, treating them with respect and consideration
Ø To support the teacher in the smooth and effective running of the class
Ø To consistently promote positive values, attitudes and behaviour in an
inclusive, engaging environment
Ø To encourage the social and emotional development of pupils
Ø To help raise standards of achievement for all pupils, allowing all our children
to flourish
Ø To encourage all pupils to participate in all aspects of school life
Ø To help pupils to become more independent
Ø To promote the inclusion and acceptance of all pupils
Ø To ensure the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the
midday break periods
Ø To engage with Continuous Professional Development (CPD) training
opportunities to better support our all our pupils
Ø Supervision of pupils in the dining areas, playground or other parts of
the school premises as directed
We

training opportunities throughout the year.
