Post Title: Office Administrator/Receptionist School: Gravel Hill Primary School Contract Type: Permanent Contract Hours: 21 hours (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) (8.15am - 4.30pm 45 minute lunch) Grade: BEX04 NJC 3 Actual Salary: BEX04 NJC 3 - Actual £14,358 (FTE £28,617) Position Start Date: As soon as possible We are looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Office Administrator to join our busy primary school front office team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a welcoming environment where no two days are the same Key Responsibilities Provide a warm and professional first point of contact for parents, visitors, and staff. Handle telephone calls, emails, and general enquiries efficiently. Assist with pupil attendance records and maintain accurate data. Support with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and preparing documents. Work collaboratively with the office team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. We are looking for Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and prioritise tasks effectively. Competent in using IT systems (Microsoft Office and school software). Previous experience in a school office or similar environment is desirable but not essential.
