Job Overview Premises Assistant (Part-Time) 15 hours per week | 7:00am – 10:00am (Monday to Friday) | 39 weeks Term time Are you a proactive, reliable individual who takes pride in maintaining high standards? We are seeking a Premises Assistant to join our team, primarily based at our Greenwich Peninsula all-through campus—a modern facility opened in November 2018. The Role Working under the direction of the Federation Facilities Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our school site is safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining school buildings and grounds to a high standard Supporting site security and health & safety compliance Assisting with cleaning and general upkeep Supporting lettings and contractor management Helping ensure a positive environment for pupils, staff, and visitors The right person for this job will have: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with pupils, staff, parents/carers, drivers, contractors, delivery drivers and members of the public A range of skills in general maintenance and repair work to carry out various site maintenance duties for both the buildings and grounds A full, clean valid driving licence is preferred but not essential The ability to work with minimum supervision or as part of a team and also work under pressure A conscientious and flexible approach to work Preferably, previous experience of premises work in schools and health and safety As this role will involve contact with children we will take up at least two references before interview asking about your suitability to work with children.
