Supply Teacher

Role: Supply Teachers Salary: M1-M6 + SEN Allowance Contract Type: Casual Hours: Adhoc Alfriston School is a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) school catering to pupils aged 11-18 years with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and a range of additional needs including speech and language difficulties. We are looking for passionate and flexible Supply Teachers to join our dynamic and supportive team to cover short-term and long-term absences across key stages. Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with MLD and additional needs Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy, using positive behaviour strategies Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure each child receives personalised support Maintain accurate records of student progress and development Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and curriculum levels Uphold safeguarding policies and contribute to the well-being of all pupils The Ideal Candidates Will Have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching pupils with SEN Strong classroom management and communication skills A nurturing, patient, and resilient approach At Alfriston, we know that happy, well-supported staff deliver the best outcomes for students.
