About the role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pupil Welfare Support

Assistant to join our supportive SEN (Special Educational Needs) school team.

This is a part-time role, ideal for someone passionate about supporting the

emotional wellbeing, safety, and personal development of children and young

people with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities

Provide

welfare and pastoral support to pupils with a range of special educational

needs

Support

students’ emotional wellbeing, helping them to regulate behaviour and

build resilience

Work

closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils feel safe, secure, and ready

to learn

Assist

with managing challenging behaviour in a calm and supportive manner

Build

positive, trusting relationships with pupils

Support

during unstructured times (e.g. break/lunch) as required

Contribute

to safeguarding and wellbeing monitoring in line with school policies
